I am an avid Gravel cyclist trying to maintain between 120 and 160 Miles per week. I am currently being treated for Psoriatic Arthritis for the past 2 years, and it has had its ups and downs. My main challenge is inflammation setting in after every ride. For the past 2 months, after consulting with my Dr., we decided to add and monitor ice bath options. I started with the research and initially pegged a standalone tub, filling it with Ice, which, as you can imagine, becomes expensive and requires a lot of maintenance. I invested in Inergize Health and their Cold Plunge unit. Within the first week of 5 mins @ 50 degree F sessions after each ride. I could consistently reach my mileage goal and increase my workload and intensity by maximizing my efforts and cadence. In the past 2 months, I have increased my fitness level to closer to what it was in 2022. Feel free to look me up on STRAVA and follow my progress towards getting my abilities back. I would also like to mention the support aspect and the Inergize team assisting me. Unfortunately, my unit's outer housing got a minor dent, and at first, since there was no internal damage, I was happy to receive it as is. I will be honest. Eventually, it just bugged me, and I engaged the support team for some options. The unit was shipped, and the housing was replaced and shipped back. There was a total turnaround of 7 days, Ashburn, VA <=> California door to door. If I would make one suggestion, should you be considering 'plunging'…
