SETUP, CARE & POWER
Setup
Setup takes about 15 minutes. Inflate the tub with the included dual-action pump, connect the chiller via the included reinforced hoses, fill from a garden hose, plug into a standard 120V outlet, and set your temperature in the app.
Power Requirements
Standard 120V / 60Hz / 15A grounded household outlet. 890W draw during active cooling or heating. Operates from 35°F to 115°F ambient. IPX4 splash-resistant, outdoor capable. Not designed to operate in sub-freezing environments.
Care
About 5 minutes per week. Replace the 20-micron filter every 2 to 4 weeks. Rinse the strainer weekly. Add non-chlorine sanitizer weekly per included instructions. Rinse the air intake filter every 3 months. Water changes every 3 to 6 months thanks to the 4-way filtration system.

Will I fit? I'm tall.
Yes. The Elite is 30" deep and fits users up to 6'5" / 300 lbs. Verified owners over 6'4" report full neck-deep submersion without yoga poses. Internal dimensions: 45" long × 21.5" wide × 30" deep.
Will it fit my space?
The Elite Tub footprint is 53" long × 29.5" wide, about the size of a standard bathtub. With the chiller and clearance, the full setup is 89" × 41.5". It fits in a garage, basement, patio, or any room.
Can I put it outside? Is it weather-proof?
Yes. The Elite is rated for both indoor and outdoor use. UV-stable PVC outer shell, IPX-rated chiller, insulated code-lock lid keeps debris out. Use year-round in non-freezing climates. In freezing weather, bring it inside or empty it. The chiller works harder in extreme heat but performs reliably.
Is it actually portable?
Yes. The tub itself rolls up and packs into the included travel backpack, weighs ~40 lbs deflated. The chiller is on caster wheels and connects via flexible hoses. Many owners move the whole setup between garage, patio, and indoor space seasonally. Several owners take it in their RV.
How does 4-way filtration work?
Four stages: strainer (debris) → 20-micron filter (fine particles) → ozone at 400 mg/hr (sanitation, app-scheduled) → air filter (chiller longevity). The air filter is the stage no other portable plunge has, it protects the compressor's airflow path from dust, pet hair, and pollen.
How does the ozone system work? Is it safe? Can I control it?
The Elite chiller generates ozone automatically and injects it during filtration cycles. It kills bacteria without chlorine, then breaks down into oxygen within ~20 minutes, no residue, smell, or effect on skin/hair.
Spire's ozone output is 400 mg/hr at peak, roughly 4× typical competitor systems. That means cleaner water for longer between changes.
How it runs: Short cycles (your choice), then a 15-minute auto-pause to prevent buildup. Set duration via Tuya app or touchscreen (0–5 min):
1–2 users → 1 min
3–4 users → 2 min
5–6 users → 3 min
7–10 users → 4 min
10+ users → 5 min
0 min → disabled
Most single users run 1-minute cycles. Bump up a level if water needs stronger disinfection.

The Elite tub is built to hold temperature. 4" of total wall air insulation and 4" insulated lid locks in cold when you're not using it.
The chiller can run 24/7 but most people don't. Most owners schedule it around their routine through the app.
Example daily routine:
4:00 AM: chiller switches on automatically (1 or 2 hours before plunge)
5:00 AM: water at 37°F, you plunge
5:30 AM: chiller runs another 30 minutes to filter and clean
6:00 AM: chiller off until your next session
