Inergize has been shipping cold plunges since our 2022 Indiegogo (crowdfunding platform) launch. Over 5,000 units delivered across our product line. We're a US-based team and we ship what we sell.

The all-in-one chiller architecture is a deliberate engineering choice, not a shortcut. Here's why we use it:

It's modular. The chiller sits beside the tub on caster wheels, connected by 6 feet of insulated hose. You can place it on any side of the tub, move it for cleaning, or relocate the whole setup without dismantling anything.

It's easier to maintain. All four filtration stages (strainer, 20-micron, ozone, air filter) sit in one accessible unit. Replace the filter, rinse the strainer, check the air intake — all in 5 minutes without reaching behind or under the tub.

It's easier to upgrade. After 4-5 years and our chiller technology improves, you can swap the chiller without replacing the tub.

It separates heat from your plunge. The chiller rejects heat away from the tub, not into the water around it. That means faster cooling and better insulation performance versus integrated designs where the chiller and tub share a thermal envelope.

On reliability: The Elite chiller is industrial-grade — a 0.8 HP compressor in an aerospace-grade powder-coated CNC casing, with components from suppliers we've worked with for 4+ years. It's built to cycle on and off rather than run continuously, which extends compressor life significantly.

If anything does fail, we ship a replacement part/unit and you ship the original to our Los Angeles repair center. US-based hardware service. Most issues resolve in 5-7 business days. Optional 3-year or 5-year Care Plans extend coverage beyond the included 1-year warranty.

Spire is the only cold plunge with a built-in seated recline. Most plunges force you into a cramped standing squat (Nordic Wave, Cold Life, Ice Barrel, Renu Vero) or a fully horizontal laydown where your shoulders sit above the water (Renu Cold Stoic, Plunge All-In). Spire splits the difference: 10° recline from vertical so your spine is supported, your chest stays open, and your shoulders stay submerged.

Beyond the seat: Spire runs 4-stage filtration with 400 mg/hr of ozone (most competitors run 1-2 stages), it's built from red cedar and 316 marine-grade stainless instead of rotomolded plastic, and it ships with integrated cedar and stainless steps instead of a basic step stool.

Three ways to head-dunk:

• Step into the footwell: full barrel-style submersion, then climb back onto the seat
• Scoot down with knees raised: drop deeper into the water without leaving the seat
• Lean forward from the seat: quickest dunk, no repositioning needed

Yes. The Elite chiller is modular and can sit directly next to the tub or up to 6 feet away with the included reinforced insulated hoses. The chiller electrical cord is 9ft long.

Chiller dimensions: 24" L × 12" W × 18" H. Recommended clearance: 10-12 inches on the long side for air intake and exhaust.

Hose connections: 1/2" BSP at top (water outlet) and bottom (water inlet). Drain is 3/4" BSP — we include a BSP-to-GHT adapter for standard garden hose drainage.

Need longer hoses? Extension hoses are available as an add-on — email us with your placement plans and we'll cut to your spec.

The Elite chiller generates ozone automatically and injects it during filtration cycles. It kills bacteria without chlorine, then breaks down into oxygen within ~20 minutes — no residue, smell, or effect on skin/hair.

Spire's ozone output is 400 mg/hr at peak — roughly 4× typical competitor systems. That means cleaner water for longer between changes.

How it runs: Short cycles (your choice), then a 15-minute auto-pause to prevent buildup. Set duration via Tuya app or touchscreen (0–5 min):

• 1–2 users → 1 min
• 3–4 users → 2 min
• 5–6 users → 3 min
• 7–10 users → 4 min
• 10+ users → 5 min
• 0 min → disabled

Most single users run 1-minute cycles. Bump up a level if water needs stronger disinfection.

Proven safe: used in municipal water treatment and commercial spas for decades.

Spire is built to hold temperature. 2" of total wall insulation: 0.8" red cedar cladding over 1.2" closed-cell PU foam injected onto every steel surface (sides, base, and seat). The 3-inch insulated lid locks in cold when you're not using it.

The chiller can run 24/7 but most people don't. Most owners schedule it around their routine through the app.

Example daily routine:

• 4:00 AM: chiller switches on automatically (1 or 2 hours before plunge)
• 5:00 AM: water at 37°F, you plunge
• 5:30 AM: chiller runs another 30 minutes to filter and clean
• 6:00 AM: chiller off until your next session

Real-world energy cost at $0.15/kWh:

• Typical owner (3 hours/day scheduled): ~$12/month
• Light use (1.5 hours/day): ~$6/month
• Maximum (24/7 continuous, rare): ~$96/month

The 2-inch insulated walls and 3-inch lid hold cold for hours between sessions, so the compressor only kicks back on briefly when water rises a few degrees above target. Schedule through the Tuya app or onboard touchscreen.

Spire is designed in Italy and handcrafted from sustainably sourced red cedar, then shipped to our California warehouse for QA before delivery to you. The Elite chiller is engineered with industrial-grade components from suppliers we've worked with for 4+ years. Every unit is QA'd before it ships.

Our support and repair operations are 100% U.S.-based. Customer support responds the same day, phone support is available Monday-Friday 8am-4pm PST, and our dedicated repair technicians operate out of Los Angeles and San Diego CA.

Every Spire ships with a 1-year warranty covering the tub, chiller, and electronics. Optional Care Plan coverage extends that to 3 or 5 years (available above the Add to Cart button or directly in your cart).

Most owners building new homes coordinate delivery 2-4 weeks before final inspection so the tub is on-site when the space is ready but not before. We've worked with general contractors and architects to plan around foundation pours, electrical rough-ins, and finished flooring schedules.
